Our Classes

Our classes go for 50 minutes, so we can use the last 10 minutes to welcome students and address any admin requests in the transition between classes.  Cuban Salsa Partnerwork & Rueda Level 1 introduces the essential foundations of Cuban salsa partnerwork and rueda in a friendly, social environment. You’ll learn core timing, lead-and-follow principles, basic turns, and simple rueda calls while building confidence, musical awareness, and dance floor etiquette. No experience needed — just a willingness to move, laugh, and connect with others in the community at Cuban Salsa Club.

You will learn new figures, faster transitions, and more complex combinations while improving spatial awareness and responsiveness to the caller. Classes emphasise teamwork, musicality, and the fun, high-energy atmosphere that makes rueda unique, all within the welcoming environment of Cuban Salsa Club.

The goal is to dance rueda smoothly, confidently, and with strong group energy in the vibrant community at Cuban Salsa Club.

The focus is on high-quality dancing that feels natural, musical, and enjoyable in real social settings at Cuban Salsa Club.

You’ll learn traditional steps, timing variations, partnerwork patterns, and how to interpret the music with confidence and style. Suitable for dancers of different experience levels, the class emphasises enjoyment, cultural appreciation, and social dance skills in the welcoming community at Cuban Salsa Club.
